Dr. Zhang grew up in New Jersey and has resided in Philadelphia for the past several years. She received a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

 

After graduation, she began her career as a small animal veterinarian in the Philadelphia suburbs, where she practiced prior to joining the Art City Vets team. Dr. Zhang believes that regular check-ups and early intervention are the best ways to help our companion animals live long and healthy lives. Her clinical interests include preventative care, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.

 

Dr. Zhang currently resides in Philadelphia with her pups, Ginnie and Mr. Burns, as well as various tropical aquatic creatures. In her spare time, Dr. Zhang enjoys exploring the city's food scene, weightlifting, and helping her pups with their favorite hobby - snuggling.
