Art City Vets Laser Therapy

Non-Invasive Pain Management Options for Your Pet
At Art City Vets, we prioritize reducing pain and promoting speedy recovery for your furry family member. Our non-invasive Laser Therapy treatment can help reduce pain, swelling, and stimulate healing, revitalizing your pet.

Additionally, laser therapy uses near-infrared light to promote cellular bio-stimulation, increase blood flow, and oxygen to cells, leading to increased activity and improved mobility. This treatment is non-invasive, soothing to the patient, and can provide relief for a wide range of conditions such as:

  • Chronic and acute pain

  • Wound healing

  • Post-surgical healing

  • Orthopedic surgery recovery

  • Reduction in swelling

  • Ease and accelerate recovery from sprains and strains, as well as some chronic infections.

Treatment Frequency and Duration
The duration and frequency of treatment depend on the diagnosis and condition of your pet. For acute conditions, we recommend one to three treatments, while chronic pain conditions such as arthritis or hip dysplasia may need six treatments over a three-week period. Most Laser Therapy treatments take less than five minutes per treatment site.

Treatment Experience and Side Effects
Most patients find the Laser Therapy soothing and relaxing, often falling asleep during the treatment. As for side effects, there are typically none. Older animals with multiple treatment sites (hips, back, elbows) may return home and sleep more than usual. Ask our veterinary healthcare team if your pet would benefit from Laser Therapy treatments.
