Al Snyder (he/they) is a Philly-based artist currently going to school at Temple University. He works primarily in ceramics and fibers, and specializes in repurposing old materials. The tiles on display play with pattern: they are tessellating- meaning one design flows into the next. In addition to the patterns, each tile features four cat whiskers, ethically sourced from Al’s two cats (picked off the ground when they fall).
